My work is grounded in developmental psychology, behavior analysis, and decades of hands‑on experience with learners who don’t respond to typical methods. Whether I’m working with a non‑verbal child, a gifted teen, or a doctoral‑level professional, my approach is the same: identify the real skill gaps, analyze the sequence in which change must occur, and explain everything at the exact level the person can understand and use.I specialize in seeing what others overlook — the hidden overload points, the missing micro‑skills, the environmental triggers, and the structural mismatches that create resistance, shutdowns, and underperformance. I extract the most relevant information, organize it hierarchically, and translate it into simple, actionable steps that produce measurable change. If you’ve tried everything and nothing has worked, it’s not because your child, student, or staff member is unmotivated. It’s because no one has shown you the right process yet.

Parent Coaching

What this work is

Parent coaching is a structured, supportive process that helps families understand what is happening beneath a child’s behavior and what skills are needed to move forward. Many parents start the workshops feeling overwhelmed, confused, or exhausted by strategies that never quite fit their child. My role is to bring clarity to that experience. I help you see the patterns, the missing steps, and the developmental logic behind the challenges you are facing. When the process makes sense, parents regain confidence, children feel understood, and progress becomes possible.

Who this is for

This work is for parents who want to understand their child’s behavior in a way that is practical, compassionate, and grounded in real developmental science. It is for families who have tried advice that felt contradictory or incomplete, or who have been told to “be consistent” without being shown what consistency actually looks like in a real home with real pressures. It is also for parents who sense that their child is capable of more, but who need a clearer path to help them get there.

What problems it addresses

Many behavioral challenges are not signs of defiance or lack of motivation. They are signs of missing skills, unclear expectations, or processes that are too complex for the child’s current level of development. When routines fall apart, when transitions become battles, when emotions escalate quickly, or when communication breaks down, the underlying issue is usually a mismatch between what the child can manage and what the situation demands. Parent coaching helps you identify that mismatch and adjust the environment, the expectations, and the teaching process so your child can succeed.

How I work

My approach is collaborative and highly individualized. I begin by understanding your child’s developmental profile, your family’s routines, and the specific moments where things become difficult. From there, we identify the skills that need to be strengthened and the steps required to build them. I guide you through a process that is both structured and flexible, so you always know what to do next and why it matters. Throughout the work, I focus on reducing guilt, increasing clarity, and helping you feel capable and supported.

What you can expect

Parents often describe a sense of relief when they begin to understand the logic behind their child’s behavior. You can expect a clearer picture of what is happening, a practical plan that fits your family, and a process that builds your child’s skills over time. You will not be asked to implement complicated systems or unrealistic routines. Instead, we work step by step, adjusting as needed, until your child can manage more independently and your home feels calmer and more predictable.

If this resonates

If you feel that this approach matches what your family needs, you are welcome to reach out. We can explore your situation together and determine the next steps in a way that feels manageable and respectful of your experience.

Professional Training

What this work is

Professional training is a process that helps educators, clinicians, and organizational teams understand behavior and learning through a developmental and functional lens. Many professionals are handed strategies without the underlying reasoning, which makes it difficult to adapt those strategies to real situations. My work focuses on building the conceptual clarity that allows professionals to make sound decisions, respond effectively, and design environments where learning and performance can thrive. When the principles are clear, the practice becomes more confident, more consistent, and more humane.

Who this is for

This work is designed for professionals who want to deepen their understanding of behavior and learning, whether they work in schools, clinics, community programs, or leadership roles. It is for those who feel that their training left gaps, or who find themselves facing complex situations that do not fit neatly into standard protocols. It is also for teams who want a shared framework that reduces confusion, improves communication, and supports more coordinated action.

How professional training helps in addressing challenges

Many professional challenges arise not from lack of effort, but from unclear models of behavior, inconsistent expectations, or systems that do not match the developmental needs of the people they serve. When staff members are unsure how to interpret behavior, how to teach skills, or how to adjust the environment, the result is often frustration, burnout, and inconsistent outcomes. Professional training provides a coherent structure for understanding what is happening, why it is happening, and what steps will lead to meaningful improvement. With the right framework, professionals can respond with clarity rather than guesswork.

How I work

My approach is grounded in developmental psychology, behavior analysis, and decades of applied experience. I begin by understanding the context in which you work, the challenges you face, and the goals you want to achieve. From there, I build a training process that is practical, respectful of your time, and directly connected to the realities of your setting. The work is interactive and reflective, emphasizing understanding principles rather than memorizing techniques. My goal is to help you think more clearly, act more effectively, and feel more confident in your professional judgment.

What you can expect

Professionals often describe a shift from uncertainty to clarity. You can expect a deeper understanding of behavior, a more organized way of approaching problems, and a set of tools that adapt to different situations rather than forcing you into rigid procedures. You will learn how to identify skill gaps, design supportive environments, and create processes that lead to measurable progress. The result is a more grounded, more effective, and more sustainable practice.

If this resonates

If this approach aligns with what you or your team need, you are welcome to reach out. We can discuss your goals and determine how to structure the training in a way that supports your work and strengthens your practice.

Executive Functioning

What this work is

Executive functioning support focuses on the skills that allow people to plan, organize, initiate tasks, manage time, and follow through. These skills do not develop automatically; they must be taught, practiced, and supported in ways that match the person’s developmental level. Many individuals who struggle with executive functioning are intelligent and capable, but their performance does not reflect their potential. My work helps bridge that gap by identifying the missing steps and building the processes that make success possible.

Who this is for

This work is for teens, adults, and professionals who find themselves stuck in cycles of procrastination, disorganization, or inconsistent performance. It is for people who know what they need to do but cannot reliably start, sustain, or complete the process. It is also for those who have been told to “try harder” or “be more disciplined,” even though effort is not the issue. Executive functioning challenges are not moral failings; they are skill gaps, and skill gaps can be addressed.

How professional training helps in addressing challenges

Executive functioning difficulties often arise when the demands of a task exceed the person’s current capacity to organize, sequence, or regulate their actions. This can lead to frustration, avoidance, or a sense of failure that becomes self‑reinforcing. By breaking tasks into manageable steps, clarifying expectations, and building routines that support follow‑through, the work becomes less about willpower and more about structure. When the process is clear, people can move forward with less stress and more confidence.

How I work

My approach is practical and individualized. I begin by understanding the specific tasks that are difficult and the points where the process breaks down. Together, we identify the skills that need to be strengthened and the supports that will make those skills usable in daily life. The work is collaborative and respectful, with an emphasis on building systems that fit the person rather than forcing the person to fit the system. Over time, the goal is to create habits and routines that feel natural and sustainable.

What you can expect

People often describe a sense of relief when they realize that their struggles have a clear explanation and a clear path forward. You can expect a more organized way of approaching tasks, a better understanding of your own patterns, and a set of strategies that help you move from intention to action. Progress is steady and cumulative, and each step builds the confidence needed for the next.

If this resonates

If you feel that this approach matches your needs, you are welcome to reach out. We can explore your situation together and determine the next steps in a way that feels manageable and respectful of your experience.

Public Speaking, Presentations, & Corporate Training

What this work is

Public speaking, presentations, and corporate training give organizations a clear and structured way to understand how behavior, learning, and task design shape human performance. My work focuses on making the underlying logic of performance visible: how skills develop, how tasks are organized, and how the sequence and complexity of steps influence outcomes. When people understand the relationship between their abilities and the demands of their work, they can perform with greater accuracy, efficiency, and confidence. These sessions translate complex ideas into practical frameworks that teams can apply immediately, improving both the quality of their work and the satisfaction they experience while doing it.

Who this is for

This work is for organizations that want to improve both efficiency and job performance by understanding behavior, learning, and human skills through a clear developmental and functional lens. The techniques I teach—behavior analysis, learning principles, task and process analysis, and personal development strategies—serve two essential purposes. The first is to increase the accuracy, consistency, and effectiveness of the work itself. The second is to improve job satisfaction by helping people understand their tasks, match their skills to the demands placed on them, and experience success more reliably. Corporations and large organizations are always focused on their bottom line, and two factors consistently shown to strengthen it are improved efficiency and improved job satisfaction. This work supports both by giving teams a structured way to understand what they are doing, why it matters, and how to do it well.

How presentations and training help

Presentations and training sessions help organizations improve performance by making the underlying structure of behavior and learning visible. When teams understand how tasks are organized, how skills develop, and how the sequence and complexity of steps influence outcomes, they can work with greater accuracy and consistency. This clarity reduces unnecessary effort, prevents avoidable errors, and allows people to focus their energy where it has the greatest impact. Training also supports job satisfaction by giving individuals a clearer sense of direction, a better understanding of their role, and a process that allows them to experience success more reliably. When people know what they are doing and why it matters, their work becomes more efficient, more predictable, and more rewarding. These improvements benefit both the individual and the organization, creating a healthier environment and a stronger bottom line.

What you can expect

Organizations often describe these sessions as clarifying and grounding. You can expect a presentation or training experience that makes complex ideas understandable and shows how behavior, learning, and task structure directly influence performance. The material is organized in a way that helps teams see the relationship between their skills and the demands of their work, which leads to more accurate, efficient, and consistent outcomes. You can also expect an approach that respects the experience of the people in the room and gives them a framework they can use long after the session ends. When individuals understand what they are doing, why it matters, and how to do it well, their work becomes more predictable, more satisfying, and more aligned with the goals of the organization. These improvements strengthen both the daily experience of the staff and the overall functioning of the system they are part of.

If this resonates

If your organization is looking for training that strengthens performance, improves efficiency, and gives teams a clearer framework for understanding their work, I would be glad to discuss your goals. We can explore your staff's needs, the outcomes you want to achieve, and the format that best supports your setting. All presentations and training sessions can be offered in English or Spanish, depending on your needs.

My Writing

My writings explore how systems develop, reorganize, and make meaning—whether the system is a child learning to communicate, a language stabilizing thought, or a conceptual structure unfolding across levels. Although the topics vary, the underlying question is the same: How does organization emerge from interaction? In my work with children and families, this question appears in the sensory‑emotional foundations of behavior, the development of communication, and the ways environments shape learning. In my philosophical writing, it appears in the evolution of language, the structure of logic, and the transformation of cognition from simultaneous relational fields into linear expression. These domains may seem distant, but they share a common architecture: development proceeds through cycles, constraints, and reorganizations that preserve continuity while creating new forms. Some of these writings are practical and grounded in clinical experience. Others are conceptual and examine how language, reasoning, and systems evolve. All of them reflect my interest in how structure emerges, how patterns stabilize, and how understanding deepens when we examine the processes that generate behavior and thought. This page brings these strands together. It includes links to my Substack essays on language and logic, as well as longer developmental pieces—such as my work on autism—that trace the structure of human growth from its earliest foundations, my comparison between artificial intelligence and human thinking, and my book, The Geometry of Thought.

AUTISM PAPERS

PHILOSOPHY PAPERS

"Artificial Intelligence and Human Thinking"
grew out of a long, structured conversation with an AI system. It examines how artificial systems process information and how that differs from human thinking, using the dialogue itself as both method and example.
"The Geometry of Thought"
1ntegrates 50 years of analysis of the thinking process, as I studied process analysis, Chaos theory, dynamic systems, developmental psychology, behavior analysis, logic, history, philosophy, mathematics, and topology. I simplified the concepts and terminology to make it enjoyable to anyone with a college-level education.
